Your basic campus internet service which is included in your housing fees provides for a download speed of 1Mb/s. This basic service is delivered through a wireless system to the residence halls. For Technical Questions & Support call the College Cable Help Desk at 1-888-467-9004 (24 hrs. per day, 7 days a week).

Want faster downloads? College Cable can provide faster speeds for those students subscribing to PREMIUM INTERNET SERVICE (see the options below). The PREMIUM INTERNET SERVICE will deliver the faster speeds through a modem that the student can provide or that can be purchased through College Cable. The modem will be connected to the cable TV outlet in the student's room.
Easy Steps to start receiving faster download speeds:
  • Subscribe On-Line (Click on SUBSCRIBE button below, complete the requested information and print your receipt)
  • Take your receipt to the Housing Office (1st Floor, Main Bldg., West Wing, Room 106, phone # 205-665-6235) and pick up your Modem Kit or, if you are providing your own modem, the Jumper Cable Kit
  • From your room, call the College Cable Help Desk (1-888-467-9004) to activate your modem.

** Please note: Our billing cycle starts on the 10th of every month. If you are subscribing for service on a date other than the 10th of the month, the cost will be pro-rated to the 10th of the next month.
